Wednesday, Feb. 12, Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital will hold its first Lunch and Learn program of 2014. February is National Heart Health Month and they will honor that by hosting Stephanie Todd, Certified Personal Trainer, NASM, PFTA. Regular physical activity is a must for having a healthy heart, so come and join Stephanie as she shares information on incorporating regular physical activity and healthy habits into busy lives.

Due to the success of the December luncheon, there will be two time slots available for guests to choose from: 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Both programs will be identical and lunch is included in the event. Bring your health and wellness questions and leave the seminar armed with new information on keeping active and your heart pumping like it should.

All levels of fitness will be addressed, whether you are training for a marathon or just getting started. Special attention will be given to people dealing with health issues and those interested in maintaining overall heart health. Groups are welcome, however RSVP’s are needed to plan for lunches. Make your reservation today by calling 830-583-4591. Classes are limited to the first 50 attendees. For more information, call or e-mail Barbara in marketing at Barbara.james@okmh.org.
