WOODSBORO – Eternal Power In Christ (EPIC) Youth Ministries from the First Baptist Church of Woodsboro is flocking the county with flamingos.

The fundraiser helps the youth get to summer camp and spread the word about a great place to learn about God.

“The youth group is a great place to make wonderful and lasting friendships,” stated youth leader DeAnne Jochetz.

“The group is growing and planning mission work within the county.”

The group meets at 7 p.m. every Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Woodsboro and is open to students in 6th through 12th grade.

The cost to flock someone is $10 for a small flock or $20 for a large flock.

You can also purchase insurance to be sure you don’t get flocked for $25.

Do not fear if you are flocked; the flamingos will rest in your yard for 24 hours and then migrate to another location.

Flamingo flocks will appear throughout the county through the month of June.

To flock someone’s yard please contact a sponsor at 361-220-1959 or call 361-774-8034 for more information.
