GOLIAD – The Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week involves the theft of a valuable ring from a residence in Goliad.

The Goliad County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a ring taken from a residence in the 200 block of S. Washington Street. According to the resident, the sapphire and diamond ring was kept in a jewelry box on her bedroom dresser. The ring is valued at $10,000.

At some point during the day on Jan. 9, 2014, the ring was missing. The resident searched her residence but was unable to find the ring.

Anyone with information about who may be responsible for the theft of the ring, or who knows the location of the ring, is asked to call Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers at 361-362-0206 or 1-877-362-0206.

All calls are anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Additionally, Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers has a standing Burglar Bounty reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for any unsolved burglary in Goliad County. Anyone with information on any burglary, or those responsible for burglaries in Goliad County, is encouraged to call in their information to be eligible for the Burglar Bounty.
