Police seek property owners

Detectives with the Beeville Police Department are still looking for the owners of stolen property they have recovered during recent burglary investigations. Police Chief Joe Treviño said anyone who has something that can prove ownership of one or more of the items being stored in the department’s evidence locker may retrieve the property. Proof of ownership would include a serial number, a photo or a sales receipt. The items awaiting claim include work lights, a small safe, a flat panel television set, a couple of yard trimmers, a yard blower, a spray painter, a table saw and a compressor with orange hose.
