GOLIAD – A 34-year-old Goliad woman damaged two Goliad County Little League fields Friday afternoon when she drove her SUV through four fences before wrecking into a water truck.

Jamie Lyn Millegan needed Goliad EMS to extract her from her vehicle with the "Jaws Of Life" after she drove through a gate on Pettus Aveenue and then ran over two fences on two separate fields. According to DPS Trooper Ruben San Miguel, she turned the vehicle around and drove through the two fields again before ramming into the water truck near the City of Goliad substation.

San Miguel said Millegan appeared coherent and she did not appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of any drug. According to San Miguel, Millegan said she blacked out.

San Miguel said a citation was pending upon further investigation.

Goliad County Little League President Jimmy Garcia and other volunteers were working at the complex as the SUV crashed through the fences and drove across the fields. Saturday's Goliad County Little League Opening Day ceremonies are scheduled to continue as planned.
