Producers are encouraged to certify their crop acreages with the Farm Service Agency. Filing an accurate report for all crops and land uses, including failed acreage and prevented planting acreage, can prevent the loss of benefits for a variety of programs. The final date to certify native and improved pastures (hay or grazed) and spring seeded crops (corn, grain sorghum, cotton, etc.) is May 15. A late filing fee will be assessed for crops reported after this date.
