Summer track jumps off to good start

GEORGE WEST – The younger summer track competitors got their monthlong season started on Friday and jumped right into the midseason form, according to the coaches.

“Our young Beeville Trojans competed very well in all events especially in the field events. We had someone place in almost every division we entered in the long jump and shot put,” said summer track coach Linda Luna.

“Our primary boys took three out of the top six places. We have many newcomers this year, and it’s very exciting for the program.”

Results of the meet in George West were as follows:
