Incumbents were returned to their positions with the exception of two upsets.

Garrett Engelking won a seat on the Refugio City Council, knocking out incumbent Ruben Garcia.

Mandy Haertig Nixon won over Calvin Wilson on the WISD School Board.

In the closest race in the election incumbent Woodsboro Mayor George Hernandez won by a narrow one-vote margin over former Mayor Joseph Hernandez.

In the two wide-open races, Sandra Jackson Mahan beat out Donnie Denton for the vacant Austwell City Commissioner position; and Gary Wright won a seat on the school board over write-in candidate Addie Ochoa.

Refugo Mayor Rey Jaso took an easy victory over his closest opponent.
