He was born Dec. 19, 1945 in Pawnee to Daniel and Feliciana Lopez Duenes. He was a retired maintenance man and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Ermina Suniga Duenes; daughters, Jennifer Merino, Debbie Cortez, Misti Evans, Dulcie Coy and Priscilla Duenes; sons, Pablo Duenez, Jr., and Timothy Duenes; sisters, Josie Warner, Isabel Zepeda, and Linda Mata; brothers, Willie Duenes, Frank Duenes, Antonio Duenes, Alfredo Duenes, Domingo Duenes, and Eliseo Duenes; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Feliciana Lopez.
A Prayer Service was held Friday, July 4 at 7 p.m. in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 5 at 10 a.m. in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Domingo Duenes officiating.
Interment followed in the De Ntra Sra De Guadalupe Cemetery in Pawnee with Military Honors.
Serving as pallbearers were Willie Duenes, Frank Duenes, Alfredo Duenes, Antonio Duenes, Eliseo Duenes, and Wayne Duenes.
