Goliad County civil calls rose sharply in June

Calls about civil and civil standbys doubled to 32 in June. Fires have more than doubled. Disturbances continue to be high. Loose livestock calls always are high.

Along with these calls, deputies must write reports and take statements to go with the crimes reported and are expected to make patrols of the whole county.

The following is an accounting of calls for service for June. Note they are by units/deputies sent (not including DPS or fire units) rather than a total number of events:
