GOLIAD – Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the identification of the person(s) responsible for a theft of equipment from a location on Oilfield Road.

On May 6, Goliad County deputies were called to a work site in the 3500 block of Oilfield Road where more than $5,000 in equipment had been stolen. According to the company that owned the equipment, Sue-Ann Operating of Victoria, the items had been stored at the work site and had been stolen sometime between April 28 and May 6.

Taken were 12 stock panels, one bundle of controls, 2 two-inch runs and roughly $1,500 worth of pipe and connectors. The total value of the stolen items was $5,340.

The only evidence of anyone being on the work site was tractor and truck tire prints in the areas where the stolen equipment had been stored.

Anyone with information about who was responsible for this theft or where the stolen property can be located is asked to call Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers at 361-362-0206 or 1-877-362-0206.

All calls are anonymous and could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
