A very successful school supply drive took place this past Saturday at Driller’s Restaurant & Bar. Hosted and organized by Almas Perdidas motorcycle club (pictured above), several children and families enjoyed hot dogs, sodas, jumping in a bouncy castle, music by DJ Robert Guzman, and were able to pick up back packs and many school supplies for this upcoming school year. Danny Hinojosa, president of Almas Perdidas, said “This was the second time we held this event for the community and we tripled the amount of school supplies we gave out this year.” Members of the club, several individuals and organizations gave to make this event so successful. A special thanks goes to Marathon, Wood Group, NAPA, the City of Kenedy, and Conoco Phillips.
