The George West Lady Horns caged the Van Vleck Lady Leopards last night 4-0 at the St. Joseph O'Conner Athletic Complex in Victoria.

George West sophomore Maggie Ham pitched the shut-out game. It was an offense battle of pitchers, but the Lady Horns' bats came alive in the 4th inning. With two outs the Lady Horns scored three of the games four runs. Outstanding pitching by Ham and the teams' strong defensive play contributed to the victory.

The Lady Horns will play the Danbury Lady Panthers for the Region Quarter Finals on Tuesday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Weimar.
