Holsey graduates from Air Force basic training

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Daniel C. Holsey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Holsey is the son of Rebecca Holsey of San Antonio and Shelton W. Holsey of Goliad and he is the son-in-law of David and Tammy Leyva of San Antonio.

He earned a diploma in 1997 from Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca.
