He was born March 30, 1946, to Conrado Garcia Sr. and Dora (Garcia) Garcia in Beeville. He married Victoria M. Garcia on March 13, 1964, in Beeville. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
He was preceded in death by his father, Conrado Garcia Sr.; and a daughter, Mary Garcia.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria M. Garcia of Beeville; his mother, Dora Garcia of Beeville; two daughters, Mary Jane (Daniel) Luna and Josie (Rene) Benavidez, both of San Antonio; a son, Conrado (Rita) Garcia III of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mary Lou (Fidencio) Jimenez and Martha Salazar, both of Beeville; a brother, Enrique (Miriam) Garcia of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Galloway & Sons chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock tonight (Wednesday) at Angelus Funeral Home.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Juan Garcia, Eric Luna, Jesse Gonzales, Joseph Benavidez, Leo Cantu Jr. and Gabriel Liserio.
Honorary pallbearers will be Briana Luna, Daniela Luna, Isaac Benavidez, Conrad Garcia IV and Jason Garcia.
