Theme of the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Banquet on Jan. 25, 2010 will be “Local Legends” and the public is being asked to nominate current or former Three Rivers citizens for this award.

“These are people that graduated from Three Rivers High School and went on to distinguish themselves in their chosen fields,” Murrell Foster, Executive Director of the Chamber explains. Those chosen will be invited to be honored guests at the Chamber banquet and receive recognition.

The categories chosen include business, education, the military, professions (medicine, law, etc.), athletics (college and professional), government, social work, non-profits and trades and crafts.

“We believe that there are many worthy people who were educated and grew up here that should be one of the honorees,” Foster concluded.
