A one vehicle rollover at IH-37 near mile-marker 69 left one dead and eight injured on Monday, July 20 at 4:28 p.m. According to a DPS spokesperson, “The left rear tire de-treaded causing the driver to lose control. The front passenger Adam Idar, 11 was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.” The driver and other passengers: Amy Tamez, 50; Adeline Farmer, 86; Jeneive Idar, 31; Elizabeth Idar, 12; Ana Idar, 10; Ethan Idar, 7; Devin Idar, 6; Neveah Idar, 5 were transported to area hospitals, continued the DPS spokesperson. The vehicle is listed as a 1995 Ford Windstar. Pictured EMS workers and others aid injured.
