Mr. Carrera’s letter to the editor (Wednesday, Oct. 15) mirrors my sentiments about the current Commissioners Court actions. I have been going around talking to the constituents of Precinct 3 and they are fed up with Eloy “Pimpo” Rodriguez and the rest of the court’s inability to control county spending and then expecting the county taxpayers to pay for it all.
To add insult to injury, this year Rodriguez even voted to give himself a raise! This is the year to start. We have a chance to put Rodriguez off the court, we have a choice to make a change. Then in years to come, we can get rid of those who do not listen to the will of the people. It is time to let the court know that we mean business and will not put up with their financial shenanigans.
