On Tuesday, Aug. 18, the Lady Bulldogs lost to Ingleside 14-25, 12-25, 25-27. Kelly Barker served five aces, Megan Cruz two, Michelle Luna one and Hannah McAfee. McAfee has six assists, Luna one, and Brittany Pullin one. Chelsie Gloor posted six kills, Harli Benham four, Cruz two, Pullin two, Barker one and McAfee one. Lune had 14 digs, Barker six, Kourtney Salazar four, McAfee three, Pullin three, Cruz one, and Benham one. Cruz, Benham, McAfee and Gloor each had one block assist.

On Friday, Aug. 21, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Runge and Riviera in pool play and split with Kenedy.

On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs opened tournament play against Dilley and defeated them 25-14, 25-15. Luna and Pullin each served two aces. McAfee had 11 assists and Barker six. Benham posted eight kills, Barker four, Gloo three, McAfee two, Pullin two, and Cruz one. Luna had seven digs, McAfee four, Pullin four, Cruz three, Benham two, Barker one, Gloor one, Tamra Gonzales one. Gloor posted two solo blocks, and Barker, Benham, McAfee and Gloor each had a block assist.

In game two, the Lady Bulldogs lost a hard fought game to Orange Grove, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23. McAfee served eight aces, Benham two, Barker one, and Cruz one. Barker had 10 assists and McAfee four. Gloor posted eight kills, Benham four, McAfee two and Pullin one. Barker had six digs, Pullin five, Cruz four, Salazar three, Luna two, McAfee two and Benham one. Gloor posted five blocks, Benham one, and Barker and Gloor one block assist.

In their match for third place the Lady Bulldogs defeated Riviera 25-16, 25-15. Pullin served five aces, Cruz three, Barker one, and McAfee one. Barker posted five assist, McAfee four, and Benham one. Benham had five kills, Pullin four, McAfee two, Gloor two, and Barker one. Luna, McAfee, Pullin and Salazar each had three digs, and Barker, Cruz and Tadlock each had one. Gloor had two solo blocks and Benham one.
