The Woodsboro Church of Christ welcomes its new Minister and his family this week.

The congregation extends a cordial invitation to the community to visit and become acquainted with minister Mel Hinojos and his wife, Anselma; son, Alexander; and daughter, Arwen.

Hinojos has been in the ministry for the past 12 years, serving missionary, local and bilingual ministries throughout the nation. He received his education from various institutions which include several colleges, universities and Bible institutes. The minister holds a D.Min., M.Div., M.J., and a B.A. in theology.

“I strive to bestow a ministry structured to provide spiritual nurturing for every individual within the church and encouragement for every person in the community,” he said.

He enjoys encouraging and contributing to life-changing and personally transforming experiences of people who seek and love God and His Word.

“I believe in a planned and applied ministry developed to teach Jesus-centered living and spiritual wholeness for families and for youth,” he said.

Hinojos said his family desires to be instrumental in bringing God’s love and touch into peoples lives.

“These are the conviction by which we serve the church and the community,” he said. “It is our way of turning hearts to Jesus.”

Community members are welcome to come say hello and greet the Hinojos family to this part of the country.
