Deborah Williams, club president, introduced the guest speaker.
During the meeting, members of the local club were awarded the Chamber of Commerce October Member of the Month award by Lenny Anzaldua, chamber president. Thirteen members were present to receive the award.
On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25, the club hosted the Alamo District Fall board meeting. Representatives from Woman’s Clubs in the Alamo district were treated to a “Decorated Tennis Shoe” contest to emphasize Alamo District President Patsy Trovell’s theme, “Hit the ground running.”
On Nov. 18, the Woman’s Club of Refugio will meet at the Community Center at 7 p.m.
