Coastal Bend College Continuing Education is the place to start for those interested in training or certification in health-related fields like phlebotomy and medical office procedures. Course offered this fall lead to entry level careers for beginners and skills mastery for professional.

Certified Nursing Assistant Training

Training for Certified Nursing Assistant is now offered as a semester credit course under HPRS and video with hands-on training in a “practice-what-you-watch” format. Course will include training on a defibrillator. Minimum ten (10) students required. Call 361-362-2633 to set up course dates and times for your group.

Intro to Medical Assisting/Medical Office Procedures

Participants gain an understanding of the medical profession through the basics of medical assisting. CPR certification will be required before the end of the course.
