George West played power football with total ground control in their 26-12 victory over the Odem Owls on Friday night in Odem. The Longhorns are 4-0 for the season.

Three Rivers had a defensive battle with the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats in their 14-11 win in Skidmore. The Bulldogs are 3-1 for the season. District play begins next week for both teams.
