Jones High students are expected to perform at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
“We are competing against seven other bands in our division,” said Jaime Vela, band director. “All of them are from San Antonio.”
Vela said that the contest is an invitation competition. UIL competition will begin Oct. 17.
Anyone wanting to watch is welcome, Vela said.
