Mayor announces items needed for annual feast for humanity

Mayor Ray Jaso announced the list of items needed for the annual Feast for Humanity sponsored by the town.

“If the public would like to help put on the Feast for Humanity, we still require several items to be donated,” Jaso said.

The following items are needed:

• 20 gallons each of whole kernel corn, cut green beans; candied yams;

• 32 sixteen-ounce cans of cranberry sauce;

• 1,000 carry out plates; 1,000 16 oz. Styrofoam cups, 600 lids;

• 600 pie plates with lids for carry-out;

• 10 large cans tea, sweet and lemon;

• 600 set-ups (knives, spoons, forks);

• 600 count box of gloves, physician type;

• one large roll, heavy duty foil;

• 10-15 aluminium trays 14x26 ;

• 10 large rolls paper towels;

• 8- two-pound boxes brown sugar;

• 3 pounds of butter, oleo sticks;

• 10 fifty-count 30-33 gallon trash bags;

• 2 packages of 400-500 count napkins;

• 1 large box salt;

• 1 large box pepper;

• 3 pound box of bacon ends; 2

• 20 cakes and 20 pies.
