Conner Payne placed 10th in the junior varsity division in Port Aransas. Other competitors in the division were Brittney Lopez and Juan Vega.
Competing in the junior high division were Destanie Dickey, Zach Lopez, and Donovan Yanez.
Brittney Lopez earned 9th and Conner Payne, 14th in the junior varsity division at the Skidmore-Tynan meet.
Other competitors included Zach Lopez and Zeke Montalvo in the junior high group and Juan Vega in the junior varsity group.
“The kids are good workers,” said Coach Keith Williams. “So we’ll keep working.”
The next meet will be the Bloomington meet Saturday in Victoria.
