He was born in Beeville on July 31, 1927, to Ramon and Maclovia Duenes Estrada. He was self employed as a house painter and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Mr. Estrada was preceded in death by his son, Adan Estrada Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosalinda (Eloy) Hancock of SugarLand and Janie (Felipe) Devora of Beeville; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Estrada of Beeville; three sons, James Estrada and John (Kristie) Estrada, both of Beeville, and Stephen Estrada of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Ernesto Estrada of Beeville and Eduardo Estrada of Gonzales; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (today) from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7 o’clock, also at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Estrada, Felipe Devora, Eloy Hancock, Patrick Estrada, Mark Estrada and Aaron Estrada.
