Chamber announces parade winners

Western Week officials have announced the winners of the floats in Saturday’s Western Week Parade.

In the category for Chamber of Commerce/Cities, first place went to the Floresville Peanut Festival Association-Court of Enchanted Gardens. Second place was awarded to the City of Sinton and third place to the Mathis Volunteer Fire Department.

In the Commercial category, winners were first place, La Amistad Adult Care and Activity Center, second place, Parkview Adult Healthcare and Activity Center, and third place, Little Lambs Learning Academy.

The Non-Commercial category winners were Tea Party Patriots, first place, Beeville Fire Department, second place, and Grupo Fusion, third place.

Decorated and Antique Cars category winners were Team Xtreme Trenz, first place, Dirty 3rd Rydaz, second place, and Roberto Martinez, third place.

The Mounted Groups winners were first place to Stampede 4-H, second place to Tough Enough to Wear Pink and third place to Skidmore-Tynan FFA.

Winners in the Youth Groups category were first place, Coastal Bend College Chapter of the Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association; second place, First Baptist Church; and third place, Skidmore-Tynan FFA.

The winner of the Best Overall float was the 4th of July Royalty Float.
