Come to Goliad State Park at 7 p.m. today, Saturday, and celebrate the crisp, cool days of autumn. Under the direction of Dr. James Heffel, the Mainland Singers and the Mainland Chorale from the College of the Mainland in Texas City will present a selection of songs in honor of the beautiful fall season.

The repertoire for the program is varied, with composers ranging from J.S. Bach to contemporary choral music composers. This will be the first appearance of the combined choirs since their successful Austrian performance tour this past summer. The concert will take place inside the historic chapel of Mission Espiritu Santo.

Goliad State Park is located approximately 1/2 mile south of Goliad on Highway 183.

Admission fees are $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and free for children 12 and under. For more information, call Goliad State Park at 361-645-3405.
