“Congress has attempted to reform our broken health care system since President Theodore Roosevelt. We have stalled for too long; today we have acted for our country and our constituents,” Hinojosa said.
The Democrat congressman claims that H.R. 3962 makes health care more affordable for the middle-class, provides security for seniors and guarantees access to health insurance for the 317,000 uninsured in the 15th Congressional District of Texas and authorizes $500 million that would help create a medical school in underserved areas like the district.
This bill will provide credits to help 187,000 households in the district buy health insurance, he adds.
