ABC Day Care and 3G Electric Company are teaming up to sponsor the annual Toys for Bee Kids gift giveaway this Christmas.

“We gave away more than 850 toys to children last year and we hope to give away just as many gifts this Christmas,” said Ernesto Garcia Jr.

Renee Salazar, owner of ABC Day Care, said the public can help ensure that every child in Bee County awakens on Christmas Day to find a gift from Santa.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls age 1-15 are needed. Cash donations also would be appreciated. Also needed: wrapping paper, tape, tags, bows and volunteers to help wrap and hand out the gifts.

Tentative plans are to hold the toy giveaway at the pavilion in downtown Beeville on Dec. 19.

Donation boxes are located at ABC Day Care and 3G Electric. An account has been set up at Texas Champion Bank under the name of Toys for Bee Kids.
