Mrs. Rosa B. Medina, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at the family residence in Beeville. 

She was born on Feb. 11, 1916, in Sierra Blanca, to Jose Baldillez and Pascuala Alvarez. 

Mrs. Medina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Domingo Medina; and a son, Fortunato Baldillez.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa (Ruben) Montez and Adelaida “Ida” (Charlie) Rendon, both of Beeville, and Patsy (Freddy) Alvarado of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sons, Salvador (Linda) Medina of Beeville, Noe (Debra) Medina of Wharton and Isidoro “YoYo” ( Dolores) Cantu of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Victoria Mendez of Beeville; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.   

A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Treviño Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Christian Church with Pastor Salvador  Rincon officiating.  Burial will follow at the Evangelico Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Mark Montez, Chris Rendon, Jacob Medina, Dr. Salvador Medina, Eric Cantu and Ernest Baldillez.
