Tri-County CEU day will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at the Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building, Goliad County Fairgrounds in Goliad. The fee is $25 or $5 per CEU hour. Five CEU’s are being offered. Registration is at 7:30 a.m.

The CEU’s are Laws and Regulations by Phillip Benavides, Texas Dept. of Agriculture, 1 hr. L&R, 8 to 9 a.m.; Brush Control Efforts for the Tim Anderson Attwater Prairie Chicken by U.S. Fish and Wildlife, 1 hr., IPM, 9 to10 a.m.; Beef Cattle Hot Button Issues by Dr. Joe Paschal, 1 hr. IPM, 10 to 11a.m., Trich, Fever Tick, BSE Extension Livestock Specialist; Brush and Weeds Control Protocols by Brian Cain, Estes Chemical, 1 hr. Gen, 11to12 a.m.; Conservation Poster Boards Extension Agents, 1 hr. L&R, 12 to 1 p.m.

This symposium is coordinated by Texas AgriLife Extension in Goliad, Bee, and Refugio counties.
