Front line hitter Jessica Stanley was chosen recently by the district’s coaches to the first team honor for her play at the net.
Teammates Chloe Garza and Lindsay Parker were named to the second team. Garza played at setter for the Lady Eagles but roamed the court and was rarely off the playing surface for coach Erica Garza. Parker teamed with Stanley to give the Lady Eagles a formidable front line.
Earning honorable mention status were Alex DiMaggio, Simona Ramirez, Marissa Carrizales and Hannah Huskey.
The Lady Eagles also shined in the classroom as Carrizales, Savannah DelBosque, DiMaggio, Garza and Ramirez won academic all-district honors.
