Salsa Festival set in April in Three Rivers

The 11th annual Salsa Festival will be held in downtown Three Rivers on Saturday, April 10, beginning at 10 a.m.

Opening ceremonies will be on the Tejano stage at 10 a.m., including music by Linda Couk and Johnny Darling. Other performers on this stage will be the Texas Cats, magician Michael Gleason, Fusion, Latin Legends and Ruben Salazar and Patron.

Chris Rybak will kick off the entertainment on the country and western stage around 10:15 a.m. The Brush Country Music Jamboree band will then take stage with Bobby Flores and Joe Nixon on twin fiddles.

Guest performers will be “Best Friends” (Sally Carlson, Debbie Reider and Chuck Miller), Alli Coscetti, Stacy Stork, the Rossi Family, Jack Higgendotham, the Rockport Gospel Force, Robyn Mundy and comedienne Charlotte “Beulah Mae” Maples.

There is no admission charge to the event and everyone is cordially invited to attend.
