Albert Ramon, KZTV Channel 10 weatherman, recently visited with the fifth-graders at Thomas Jefferson Elementary. Ramon, a former drum major and graduate of A.C. Jones High School, told the students about his early interest in meteorology. His interest led to a degree from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi and his current career.
He presented many interesting facts about the atmosphere, the water cycle, condensation and the effect of the earth’s rotation on our seasons. He encouraged the students to take an interest in science and to apply themselves on the TAKS test.
