On Jan. 28, God waked me and my family like any normal day. My family and I went to eat breakfast at a local restaurant. We got back to our house, my wife was doing some ironing and I was reading the Bible. As my wife walked through the hall, I looked down at the carpet and I saw something that looked like a spill on the carpet. I walked toward the bedroom where my wife was standing hanging her clothing she had finished ironing. I will never forget what I saw that morning.

A varicose vein had broken on my wife’s leg, near her feet and the blood was coming real fast. I knew she was dying right in front of me and there was nothing I could do to save her. As I was calling 911, I was scared, shaking. I was losing my hope because my wife was dying. I told 911 what was happening, to send me an ambulance ASAP because my wife was bleeding to death. By this time, my wife had walked to the bathroom and collapsed on the floor.

I remember Jeremiah 33:3 where God says call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and wondrous things you do not know. I called and screamed as my wife was dying. I was talking to God saying please don’t let my wife die, don’t take her from me, please let her live. God knew I was scared and I was losing my hope, so God opened my spiritual eyes and I saw angels putting blood on my wife. As she was bleeding to death, the angels were putting blood on her.

As Angel Care came and picked her up and drove her to the hospital, my daughter and I followed the ambulance. I was still in doubt. I knew she had left us, but then I saw the doctor and he told me not to worry because my wife was coming home within three hours. Everything was normal and she didn’t even need blood.

I thank God, thank you, Jesus, thank you, Angel Care, for your fast and professional service, thank you, Quality Carpet, for donating your service in cleaning our carpet, thank you, 911 and Christus Spohn. You all will be in my prayers.
