He was born on May 24, 1960, in Seguin, TX, to Julian and Lupita Hernandez. He was the owner of City Paint and Body Shop in Beeville, TX. He graduated from A.C. Jones High in 1979, and received an Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design in 1981 from Bee County College. He loved fishing, custom cars, and the Spurs, UT and Dallas Cowboys football games. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by a daughter, Elyse Lynnette Hernndez of Beeville, TX; parents, Julian and Lupita Hernandez of Beeville, TX; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Sonny (MaryAnn) Hernandez of Smithville, TX, Arnold (Dahlia) Hernandez of Houston, TX, Deedee (Roland) Trejo of Beeville, TX, and Virgie (Ernest) Moreno of Beeville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville, TX. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that evening at Our Lady of Victory Church in Beeville.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church. Graveside services will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Beeville.
Pallbearers will be his nephews: Matthew Hernandez, Marcus Hernandez, Lucas Hernandez, Arnold Rey Hernandez, Nicolas Hernandez and John Roland Trejo.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Al Santellana, Sal Barrientes, Raymond Barrientes, Joe Chapa, John Contreras and Ernie Martinez.
