Santa Claus is coming to Three Rivers on at 6 p.m. Monday at the Annual Christmas on the square celebration sponsored by the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce Retail Promotions Committee.

The event will take place on Dibrell Avenue between City Hall and the First State Bank. Entertainment will be provided by the Ukedoodlers, student ukulele band, and the kids of Miss Ann’s Kindercare. At 6:30 p.m. Santa will arrive on a Three Rivers Volunteer Fire Department fire engine with lights blazing and sirens wailing.

Santa will again be played by Dexter Begines, a counselor at FCI-Three Rivers. He will talk to each child and give them candy. Photos will be taken of Santa and the children by Sue McNeill.

Prints will be available for pick up at the Chamber of Commerce office in city hall in about a week. There will be no charge for the photographs.
