Mr. Aldape was born on July 16, 1935, in Mission to Ruperto and Aurora Perez Aldape. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter, Manuel and Juan Aldape.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marta Noriega Aldape of Beeville; one daughter, Martha Noemi Aldape of Beeville; two sons, Roberto Aldape Jr. of Arvada, Co. and Rene Aldape of Jacksonville, Fla; one brother, Jose Aldape of Edinburg; one sister, Guadalupe Hardebeck of Yuma, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Treviño Funeral Home.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 o’clock Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Patrick Donahoe officiating. Burial followed at the Beeville Memorial Park.
