What is racism?

Editor:

My wife and I lived in Beeville for 53 years but now live north of San Antonio. We take the Bee- Picayune and read your column on taking the “R” word test (July 17).

Always thought I was a patriot, as I and five brothers served in two wars to preserve the freedom we all enjoy today.

It is unreal to me that there are so many crybabies claiming “racist” in today’s world. There are only three race stocks on planet earth: Caucasian (loosely called “white”), Negroid (loosely called “black”) and Mongoloid (loosely called “yellow”). There is no such race as Hispanic; they are a branch of the Caucasian race. We should all be very proud to be Americans.

I have lived through the fall of three empires that wanted to exterminate people, brutalize people and control the world. Thank God, those days are gone.

However, now we have some Moslems of the Arabic world that are hell-bent on exterminating all of us. Where will it all end?

Sincerely,

Ernest V. Davis
