Three Rivers Sacred Heart to hold annual barbecue on Oct. 3

Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Three Rivers is announcing plans for their annual barbecue to be held Sunday. Oct. 3 at the parish hall located at 307 East Alexander St. (2 Blocks from the post office).

Plates will consist of barbecue brisket, beans, potato salad, cole slaw, drinks and dessert can be enjoyed for $7 per plate. Serving will start at 11 a.m. Plates may be purchased to eat at the parish hall or can be picked up at the drive-thru located behind the church hall. Additional meat will also be sold for $8 a pound.

Those who stay will enjoy additional activities including the big Live Auction beginning at 12 noon. Some of the items auctioned off will consist of antique items, many new items, handcrafted items, plants, and baked goods just to name a few. The auction always has something for everyone. Bingo will take place from 2:30-6:30 p.m. with cash prizes. Top prize will be a $2,000 gift card. There will also be a Country Store which will have baked goods, plants and handcrafted items. There will be many games for all ages, including a moon walk for the kids. Also included will be a silent auction from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Another highlight of the day will be the drawing for many wonderful raffle prizes to be held at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be on sale from any Sacred Heart parishioner, or can be purchased at the door. Come and enjoy a fun filled day for the whole family.
