The bride was given in marriage by her father, Charles Bednorz. She wore a white, classic, satin A-line dress with white beading, a veil with beading on the edges to match and a cathedral train. She also wore a crystal pendant with matching earrings and bracelet and carried a bouquet of maroon and white roses with a silk pouch tucked away in the bouquet containing a ring from each great-grandmother, to represent something old and something borrowed.
Wedding music was provided by Everett McAulay of Beeville on the organ and piano, David Hering of College Station on the trumpet and soloist Carey Dietert of Austin.
The matron of honor was her friend Amanda Hubert Smith and the bridesmaid was Laura Jones, cousin of the groom. The best man was the groom’s friend, Chris Hooks, and the groomsman was Scott Bednorz, brother of the bride.
Ushers included the bride’s cousin, Matthew Acker, two cousins of the groom, Ross Jones and Jarod Kocurek; and Ryan Sprinkle, friend of both the bride and groom. Altar servers were the bride’s cousins, Clara and Kyle Smejkal. House party members included the bride’s cousin, Katie Acker and Raye Bednorz.
The wedding reception was held at the Bee County Expo Center. The dance floor was elegantly decorated with a Swarovski chandelier and additional lighting and drapes.
The bride’s cake was an Italian cream cake with cascading roses down the side of each tier. The groom’s cake was a chocolate confection in the shape of two locking Aggie rings with great detail of symbolism.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Beeville Country Club. The 50 guests were served a dinner of specific recipes chosen by the groom and his family.
