Storyfest, which competed with other events with a budget of under $75,000, took first-place for Best Hat, Best Other Merchandise (koozie), Best Single Newspaper Display Ad, Best Outdoor Billboard, Best TV Promotion and second-place for Best Newspaper Insert/Supplement, Best Event Website and Best Social Media Site.
The TFEA Marketing Awards program recognizes excellence in marketing campaigns used to promote festivals and events.
“This competition recognizes the creativity and professionalism of the Texas festivals and events industry,” said TFEA Executive Director Debbie Farquhar-Garner. Over 340 entries were received this year for the competition.
