He was born to Rudolf Polasek Jr. and Mary Jane (Mokry) Polasek on Sep. 27, 1939 in Corpus Christi. He worked for Diamond Shamrock Refinery in Three Rivers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Edward Polasek, and a sister Irene Kubala.
Survivors include his spouse, Julie Polasek of Three Rivers; one son, Jerry Polasek of Hebbronville; a daughter, Jennifer “J.J.” Dobie of Three Rivers; a brother, Richard Polasek of St. Hedwig; three sisters, Carole Jean Baker of College Station, Eleanor Jesko of Kerrville, Mary Nan Prince of Corpus Christi; and one granddaughter Madison Dobie of Three Rivers.
Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 7, from 5-8 p.m., with a rosary recited that same evening at 7 p.m., at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers.
Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Saturday, Oct. 8, at 1 p.m.
Pallbearers were Edward Dell Polasek, Eugene Polasek, Shane Baker, Jason Hayes, Donald Kubala and Jeffrey Bailey.
