Fourteen enthusiastic ladies met Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Buck West House for the monthly gathering of Texas Generation Quilters. Great fellowship, brunch, show-&-tell, miscellaneous discussion and the Block-of-the-Month presentation ensued.

Holly Hinz shared her “Nine-Patch Pizzazz” throw-size quilt, done in Christmas motif. Chela Lentz had another Calendar quilt completed, for all to see (and envy!)

Also, several more blocks were turned in to be used in our “Quilts of Valor” project quilt.

Elmira McNiel wrapped up the program with her presentation of the “Old-Fashioned Shoe” block, an old, rare find of hers. It features an appliqued high-heeled, button-up lady’s boot on a 12” block.
