Three Rivers High School drops to 1A

With University Interscholastic League realignment announced today, Three Rivers High School dropped to 1A. The cutoff was 199 high school students. TRHS has just over 180 students.

In football, Three Rivers will play in Region 4, District 15 against Ganado, Kenedy, Shiner and Yorktown.

In basketball, the school will be in Region 4, District 20 and play Falls City, Kenedy, Pettus, Runger and Yorktown.

George West remained in 2A. In football, it will be in Region 4, District 15 against Goliad, Jourdanton, Luling, Marion, San Antonio Brooks and San Antonio Cole.

In basketball, it will be in District 31 against Banquete, Freer, Mathis, Odem, San Diego, Skidmore-Tynan and Taft.
