Jose A. Munoz, 64, died on Saturday, Jan. 31 at a San Antonio Hospital after a long illness.

He was born to Raul and Julia (Nieto) Munoz on Dec. 28, 1944 in George West. He was an independent carpenter, repairing and building homes.

Survivors include his wife Irma Molina of George West; a son Jose A.(Sulema) Munoz Jr. of George West; one daughter Diana (Manuel) Martinez of George West, two brothers Julio (Irma) Munoz of Poteet, Robert (Estella) Munoz of George West; one sister Connie (Jimmy) Sanchez of Petersburg; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be (today) Monday, Feb. 2, from 1-9 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers. Visitation will also be Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. at the Centro de Oracion Church (located 1 block behind the Dairy Queen) in Three Rivers.

Pallbearers are Joe A. Munoz, Jr., Manuel Martinez, Tim Martinez, Julio Munoz, Brian Munoz, Robert Munoz, Tiffany Martinez, and Michele Munoz.

Burial will be at the George West Cemetery, George West.
