Janelle Rankin Mullins, age 77, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18. She was born on August 22, 1931 in Refugio to Vollie Carl Rankin and Lurline McNiel Rankin. She was married to Harold C, Mullins. She had a ceramic shop in Mathis and was a member of the Swinney Switch Women's Auxiliary. She lived in Switch Switch and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jean Lynch (John) Hamrick of Dripping Springs and Patricia Ann Lynch (Wayne) Meeler of Anahuac; one son, Robert Jay (Jackie) Lynch of Brunswick, Maryland, one brother, Bud Rankin of Swinney Switch; one sister, Eva Hailey of Iowa; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 20 from 3-7 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Chapel in George West. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb.21, at 10 a.m. at the Galloway and Sons Chapel with Pastor Bud Rankin officiating. Burial will follow at the George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Hamrick, John Smith, Dale Cavallin, Dale Cornelius, Mark Cornelius, Michael Cornelius, Tyler McCumber and Tanner McCumber. Honorary pallbearer will be Edwin Meeler.

Arrangements are under the direction of Galloway and Sons Funeral Home in George West.
