Mary Lou Rodriguez, 52, died on Monday, Feb. 23, 2009.

She was born on April 9, 1956 in George West, to Juanita Lopez. She married Richard Rodriguez on Sept. 27, 1975 in Three Rivers. She resided in Three Rivers and was a homemaker, a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by her husband Richard Rodriguez; two daughters, Cassandra (Claudio) Cantu of Corpus Christi and Adrianna Rodriguez of Three Rivers; a son, Joseph “Rico” Rodriguez of Three Rivers; her mother Juanita Lopez of George West; four brothers, Ruben (Herminia) Lopez of Lufkin, Jesse (Carol) Lopez of Lake Jackson, Abel (Diana) Lopez of Del Rio, and Noe Guerrero of Del Rio; and a sister Julia (Manuel, Sr.) Tanguma of Runge.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 1-9 p.m., at the Galloway and Son Chapel in Three Rivers with rosary starting at 7 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers with Fr. Ryszard Zielinski officiating. Burial will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Joey Rodriguez, Bobby Perez, Jesse Lopez, Noe Guerrero, Rocky Mendez, Felipe Martinez Sr., Isreal Cruz, Rico Rodriguez, and Manuel Tanguma Jr.

Honorary pallbearers include Ruben Lopez and Abel Lopez.
